People with allergies don’t want anything to interfere with their active lifestyle. Even with years of experience living with allergies, many people periodically forget their medication and suffer as a result. According to studies, 52% of people forget to take their medicine from time to time.

The key to solving this problem was the smartphone – one of the few things people rarely leave behind.
We connected the smartphone to a specially designed pillbox (capsule) using iBeacon technology and a mobile application called Aerius Control. Aerius Control detects when the capsule goes out of range and sends an alert.

The capsules were distributed with Aerius purchases, and users received a link to the app in the App Store and Google Play through promotional materials and the website. This activation proved highly effective – Aerius sales increased by 12%.
